How much will I pay?
Hourly rates can be difficult in criminal defense, as there are so many reasons we may have to file amendments, make phone calls on your behalf, investigate etc.
For this reason we make things as clear as possible from the beginning. You will have one flat rate for your protection during the course of the case. We understand that you probably weren't expecting this expense, so we will work out a payment plan, and make sure that your security comes first.
What should I bring?
Please bring an ID, like a drivers license, or government issued photo ID. It would also help if you have any of the paperwork you were provided at the time of your arrest, or whatever you have received from the police station / crown attorneys. Sometimes even small errors and inconsistencies on paperwork can help your case, so keep everything, and bring us a copy.
Do I have to dress up?
You don't have to do anything... But your likelihood of having a judge look kindly upon you may come down to your court manners and comportment. We always recommend you dress well, and prepare yourself to be respectful of the court. This means learning how to address the court. We will help you understand everything, and prepare you for this experience.
